I've been in the beauty industry for 35 years. For 17 of those, I worked as a global makeup artist and hair stylist for the entertainment industry. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, and it's been amazing!

But then something happened: I saw that men were starting to care about their appearance more than ever before—and not just for themselves but for others too. And I thought, Why is this happening? Why haven't we seen this before?

And then Covid happened. And it was like… well, it was like being struck by lightning—except you don't die from getting hit by lightning. You just get laid off. And then you realize that your whole life has been leading up to this moment where you can finally do what you want, without anyone telling you no or telling you that it won't work out because of how much experience they have compared to yours (which is none).

So here I am! Naked-barber shop is my dream come true—a place where men can feel comfortable getting quality haircuts and other services without having to worry about looking like they're trying too hard or being judged by someone who doesn't even know them personally yet
